Long Red Fingers Venus Flytrap
Long Red Fingers is a striking flytrap. The cilia (teeth) are long, crossed and sometimes fused. The traps are smaller and almost cup-shaped. Both they, and the cilia can turn a marvelous red in full sun. A smaller flytrap overall, Long Red Fingers has a delicate and dangerous appearance. Unlike some strange flytraps which have many similar varieties, there is nothing similar to Long Red Fingers. This makes it a wonderful collector’s plant.
Simply, a Venus flytrap should be kept outdoors in a shallow tray of distilled water in full sun. Feeding a Venus flytrap is not necessary. See our Care Guides for more detailed informaton.
